Gorilla destroys property, blames the cat. Are all primates liars?

(NaturalNews) Koko the Gorilla, celebrated for her 1000-word sign language vocabulary, is known for her affinity toward cats. After she learned how to communicate with her caretakers at the Gorilla Foundation in Northern California, she asked for a kitten to have as a pet.

Like most people, Koko has good behaviors and bad behaviors. Like most people, she takes credit for the good behaviors and blames the bad ones on someone else.

The cat came in handy on one particularly destructive day. When no one was around, Koko managed to rip a sink out of the wall in her habitat. When the humans returned, they asked Koko who ripped out the sink.

Koko signed, "The cat did it."

The framed cat was not available for comment, but we assume he was shocked at this betrayal. Still, the ripped out sink could be a mere false flag operation in a larger conspiracy cooked up by a secret society of zoo animals seeking to intimidate humans into giving more generous portions of food to the animal elite.

Well, why not? If primates are going to mimic humans, they may as well go all the way.

While Koko is known for telling this one lie, humans lie compulsively.
Pamela Meyer, author of the book Liespotters, suggests that the average person is hit with somewhere between 10-200 lies every single day.

Strangers lie to each other an average of three times in the first 10 minutes of interaction.

Marriage partners lie to each other once in every 10 interactions.

25% of CEO's falsify their resume.

This is not to mention massive lies by Presidents and lawmakers, media cover ups, corporate scandals to the tune of a billion dollars a year, lies to start wars, lies to create more oppressive laws, lies, lies, lies. They roll off our backs.

How many lies were told in the recent Presidential campaign? Hundreds. Both candidates lied and twisted the truth to such a degree that would render them unelectable in an honest society. We should be shocked. We aren't. Lying is acceptable behavior.

Watch for Liespotter Pamela Meyer to join me on Mental Health Exposed soon. She will be teaching us how to spot a liar, based on the methods in her bestselling book.
