TSA terrorizes three-year-old girl in wheelchair
(NaturalNews) According to the website of the
Transportation Security Administration,
the agency was created in the immediate aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001
terrorist attacks "to strengthen the security of the nation's
transportation systems and ensure the freedom of movement for people and
commerce."
In order to fulfill that mission, "TSA uses a
risk-based strategy and works closely with transportation, law
enforcement and intelligence communities to set the standard for
excellence in transportation security."
The agency says it accomplishes its mission utilizing three core values: Team Spirit, Innovation and
Integrity.
Under that last heading, TSA's goals are to "Respect and care for
others and protect the information we handle;" "Conduct ourselves in an
honest, trustworthy and ethical manner at all times;" and "Gain strength
from the diversity in our cultures."
Nowhere does it say the agency's job is to
terrorize the very traveling public the agency was created to serve, yet that seems to be what its personnel are best at.
Feeling up wheelchair-bound children is supposed to make air travel safe from terrorists? The
most recent egregious example of this out-of-control agency took place
at Lambert International Airport in St. Louis, where rogue TSA agents
found it necessary to grope a three-year-old wheel, chair-bound girl.
En
route with her parents to Disney World in Orlando, Fla. for a family
vacation, little Lucy Schulte began to cry as agents demanded to pat her
down and "screen" her
wheelchair.
Enraged
by the demand, Lucy's mother, Annie Schulte, said agents could not
touch her daughter until she could get her cell phone out to record the
incident.
"It's illegal to do that," one agent told her.
A report by Orlando station
WFTV-9, said Annie Schulte asked to record the scene.
"To
me, it was pretty offensive because I was really tuned in. When she
said that, immediately I'm like, 'OK, hold on, something doesn't seem
right.' So, I did tell her I was going to wait because I was going to
grab my phone," she said.
In the video, little Lucy is seen crying and heard saying, "I don't want to go to Disney World."
Way to go,
TSA.
Lucy's father, Nathan Forke, said, "It bothers me that my daughter was singled out specifically because she is in a wheelchair."
The final straw, the family said, came when the agents refused to return Lucy's stuffed animal named
Lamby.
In
a brief statement posted on the TSA site, the agency said: "TSA regrets
inaccurate guidance was provided to this family during screening and
offers its apology. We are committed to maintaining the security of the
traveling public and strive to treat all passengers with dignity and
respect. While no pat-down was performed, we will address specific
concerns with our workforce."
WFTV-9 reported that the Schulte family accepted the apology, but really, what difference does that make?
Will
anyone be fired over this blatant, irresponsible act, which appears to
be in total disregard of the agency's stated pledge to "respect and care
for others" and "conduct ourselves in an honest, trustworthy and
ethical manner at all times?"
If past is prologue at the TSA, the answer is a resounding
no.
This kind of thing keeps happening so it must be taughtThe fact is, this kind of behavior is
routine for the TSA; it happens
all the time, as we have well-documented here at
Natural News.
TSA has groped and molested other small children.

TSA has groped and molested breast cancer survivors.

More telling than anything else, given the context of this particular story,
TSA agents have previously terrorized a wheelchair-bound child headed to Disney World with his family. (

The
TSA says that, regarding this latest child-groping incident,
"inaccurate guidance was provided" to the family by agents. Really?
If that were the case, such incidents would
be the exception, not the rule. And yet they keep happening.
That can only mean one thing: TSA agents
are being taught to be serial gropers of women and wheelchair-bound children. That's the only way to explain the subsequent incidents.
Airports are not bound to use TSA agents. By law, they can opt out and use private screeners. (

We
recommend they do that. Passengers - especially frequent fliers - who
are sick and tired of the TSA nonsense should routinely contact airport
managers and demand they drop this rogue agency.
