Media Fog of War Ensues in Wake of Boston Marathon Bombing

Yesterday, shortly after the Boston Bombing, I wrote an article entitled, “Early Evidence Indicates Boston Bombing Was A False Flag,”
where I acknowledged that the facts were still emerging in regards to
exactly what happened on April 15 in Boston Massachusetts. Although I
did my best to present the relevant information as it was unfolding, a
portion of that material appears to have been muddled in the confusion
and fog of information surrounding the immediate aftermath of such an
event.

Shortly after the article was posted, some of the questions resulting from the reports I cited (particularly that regarding the Boston Globe tweets and the announcement of “controlled explosions”) were answered.

Considering the track record of government-sponsored false flag attacks,
however, the incident has seemed suspicious from the very beginning.
This suspicion has been bolstered by the fact that mainstream media
pundits are uniting in their promotion of the theory that the Boston
Bombing was, in fact, the handiwork of “rightwing extremists” and
“anti-tax people.” With the obvious and increasing trend toward a total
police state, it is also a suspicious that one result of the attack
would be the de facto military occupation of Boston by the Massachusetts National Guard.

Regardless, however, some information which was
reported in the fog of the aftermath of the bombings by a variety of
alternative media outlets, including myself, such as the existence of a
planned “controlled explosion.” After further examination, it has been
determined not to be of the significance that it was originally thought.


For instance, in regards to the “controlled explosion” reports, it has
been established that the “controlled explosion” was not an event or
drill planned prior to the bombings but were, in fact, the detonation of
a secondary device which was found across from the JFK library.

In the hours after the event, the reports of a “controlled explosion”
were interpreted by some to mean a planned drill and were reported
accordingly. This interpretation was bolstered by a Boston Globe tweet
which announced the “controlled explosion.” However, in reality, the
tweet was only announcing the destruction of the secondary device and
was released close to an hour after the initial bombings. As Madison Ruppert of End the Lie writes,
<blockquote class="tr_bq">There are rumors
circulating social media and blogs claiming that the Boston Globe
tweeted that there was going to be an explosion as part of a drill
before the attacks took place. </blockquote><blockquote class="tr_bq">As I pointed out in the fourth update to an article earlier today, this is incorrect. </blockquote><blockquote class="tr_bq">The tweet at issue
reads, “BREAKING NEWS: Police will have controlled explosion on 600
block on Boylston Street” and was posted at 12:53 PM Pacific. </blockquote><blockquote class="tr_bq">The first tweet
from the Boston Globe about the bombings reads, “BREAKING: A witness
reports hearing two loud booms near the Boston Marathon finish line.” It
was posted at 11:57 AM Pacific. </blockquote><blockquote class="tr_bq">Put simply, the “controlled explosion” tweet was 54 minutes after the tweet about the two bombings.</blockquote>But,
while those of us who may have reported this information improperly
have a responsibility to retract it, it is also true that there are
numerous aspects regarding the Boston Bombings and the JFK library
explosion/fire which are still quite suspicious.

While an explosion was indeed reported by police at the JFK library and
subsequently published as such by the New York Post, it was later
reported that the incident was nothing more than a fire that was unrelated to the initial bombings.

Not
only that, but the fact remains that the University of Mobile’s Cross
Country Coach, Ali Stevenson, stated that bomb sniffing dogs were
present at both the start and finish lines, a highly questionable
circumstance if the bombings were not known to be set ahead of time, at
least to some extent.

Speaking to Local 15,
the local Boston news station, Stevenson stated, “They kept making
announcements on the loud speaker that it was just a drill and there was
nothing to worry about. It seemed like there was some sort of threat,
but they kept telling us it was just a drill.”

It should also be noted, however, that, in another report, the text of
Stevenson’s statement was changed. Again, as Madison Ruppert writes,
<blockquote class="tr_bq">Despite erroneous claims on social media, WPMI Local 15 did report
that a coach from the University of Mobile said that there were bomb
sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines and law enforcement spotters
on rooftops at the start of the race. </blockquote><blockquote class="tr_bq">According
to Ali Stevenson, who says he raced in marathons in Chicago,
Washington, D.C., London and other major cities, that level of security
is unusual. </blockquote><blockquote class="tr_bq">It is important to
note that the text of the report has been changed. Originally, it
included a quote from Stevenson saying, “It seemed like there was some
sort of threat, but they kept telling us it was just a drill.” </blockquote><blockquote class="tr_bq">Stevenson
told Local 15 that authorities told participants that it was just a
training exercise, according to the new report which lacks the word
“drill” entirely. </blockquote><blockquote class="tr_bq">“They kept making announcements to the participants do not worry, it’s just a training exercise,” Stevenson said. </blockquote><blockquote class="tr_bq">“Evidently,
I don’t believe they were just having a training exercise,” he said. “I
think they must have had some sort of threat or suspicion called in.”</blockquote>Regardless
of whether the issue surrounding the “controlled explosions” and Boston
Globe tweets have been settled, there are clearly plenty of reasons
to suspect that the Boston Bombings were, indeed, false flag attacks.
However, while some evidence may point in this direction, it would be
wise for all of us – observers, activists, alternative media outlets,
etc. – including myself, to slow down, take a look at the facts for what
they are and make our judgments accordingly.
