A New Resistance film to expose dangers of Roundup in food, water and all around us(NaturalNews) It has been in constant and increasing use for more than 50 years. But glyphosate, the main ingredient in Monsanto's Roundup herbicide, isn't at all safe for humans. And a new film project known as
A New Resistance seeks to make this fact known on a wide scale, warning the public that this deadly chemical is now present in water, soil, air and food, and is slowly killing us all.
Since 1974, conventional farmers have been dousing their crops with what they were told is a completely safe, broad-spectrum weedkiller. This weedkiller has since become the number one selling herbicide in the world, but a growing body of independent science now shows that it is destroying human health, promoting obesity, infertility, cancer, irritable bowel syndrome, autism and dementia.
While supposedly making farming "easier," Roundup has become ubiquitous throughout the environment and in the modern food supply. Homeowners and gardeners alone use over 100 million pounds of it every single year just to keep their lawns free of weeds and their golf courses perfectly manicured. But the result is that glyphosate is now present in nearly every person's body.
"Glyphosate is an antibiotic, a chelator, and an endocrine disruptor," explains an announcement about the film project.
"It is being found inside of our bodies, and is entering the bodies of our newborn children through breast milk. A host of recent studies have linked Roundup and glyphosate to an alarming number of diseases threatening animal and human health, including obesity, diabetes, depression, infertility, cancer, celiac disease, gluten intolerance, irritable bowel syndrome, autism, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease."

EPA has raised allowable glyphosate limits by 3,000 percent to accommodate chemical industry
Since it was first introduced, Roundup use has increased dramatically all around the world, and so has the amount of
Roundup pollution present in the environment. Consequently, in July 2013, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) decided to raise the maximum allowable residues of glyphosate in food to accommodate this increase in use.
The result? There can now be up to 3,000 percent more
glyphosate in your food before a food manufacturer will be scrutinized by the nation's food safety agencies. This is despite numerous recent studies showing that glyphosate destroys gut microbiota and accumulates inside the body. Nearly every study
not published by the chemical industry itself suggests that glyphosate is "Satan's molecule," as it literally destroys all life with which it comes into contact.
"It's time to stop raising the residue limits for a chemical that has potentially harmful effects on our health," insist the minds behind the
A New Resistance project. "It's time to stop the use of glyphosate altogether, unless and until peer-reviewed independent studies of glyphosate prove its use to be unquestionably safe."

Those who understand how dangerous glyphosate and Roundup really are also recognize that it is absolutely vital to spread the word to others. This is especially critical as rates of infertility, autism, and many other conditions associated with glyphosate exposure continue to skyrocket with no end in sight. By 2034, claim some estimates, one in every two children will likely have autism!
This needs to stop, and
A New Resistance can help make it happen by educating people through
film. Once released, the final project will be free for everyone with no strings attached. But in order to get the film made, funds still need to be raised. As of this writing, the project has achieved $46,414 of its final goal of $50,000, so let's help it through the final stretch:
