Dr. Julie Gerberding oversaw historic mumps vaccine fraud cover-up(NaturalNews) We would like to think that vaccines are created for the general well-being of the public, but sometimes they just aren't effective enough to pass safety standards.
What's worse is that head vaccine officials are willing to falsify data and lie about vaccine efficacy only to bypass safety review so they can ultimately control the marketplace. This corrupt culture does whatever it takes to pass its products through the approval process, putting people's lives at stake in the process.
Damning evidence, revealed in court documents from the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, show that Merck was engaged in years of vaccine fraud. The pharmaceutical giant Merck lied to the FDA, used the CDC and committed vaccine crimes against the American public, falsifying their mumps vaccine efficacy rate using rabbit antibodies.
In 2006, Dr. Julie Gerberding was the head of the CDC. During her time there, she oversaw a serious mumps vaccine cover-ups, documented in the antitrust lawsuit, Stephen A Krahling and Joan A. Wlochowski vs. Merck & Co.
In January 2010, former CDC head Dr. Julie Gerberding took a high career position as the president of Merck's Vaccine Division. The conflict of interest was apparent. Gerberding sold Merck's fraudulent mumps vaccine for years, and for her deceit, she joined Merck at the helm of their Vaccine Division in 2010. As the court documents reveal, this was no conspiracy theory, but was instead the result of a culture of corruption only to move vaccines for profit. The quotes below come from the antitrust suit.
Vaccines must have a 95% efficacy rate to be approved by the FDA; Merck lied about their mumps version
First, it's important to know that the FDA grants vaccine makers a license to sell their products in America. For herd immunity to kick in, the FDA requires that
vaccine testing show a 95 percent efficacy rate. Herd immunity is not just about vaccinating 95 percent of the public. It's also about vaccine efficacy rate, since 100 percent of the population would need to receive a vaccine with 95 percent effectiveness to reach the herd immunity threshold.
"The FDA insists on such a high efficacy rate (95%) because only then can the disease ultimately be eradicated through what is commonly referred to as 'herd immunity.'"
"Without demonstrating that its mumps vaccine continued to be 95% effective,
Merck would lose its exclusive license to manufacture and sell its MMRII vaccine."
Merck's Protocol 007 used rabbit antibodies to falsify mumps vaccine efficacy
To prove the efficacy rate was good enough for the American people, Merck began a testing operation called "Protocol 007."
According to court documents, "Relators Krahling and Wlochowski participated on the team that conducted this supposedly enhanced test. Each of them witnessed firsthand the falsification of the test data in which Merck engaged to reach its 95% efficacy threshold. In fact, each was significantly pressured by Krah and other senior Merck personnel to participate in this fraud."
Additionally, "Merck added rabbit antibodies for the singular purpose of altering the outcome of the test by increasing the virus neutralization count."
"Without applying a proper 'control' to the process, there is no way to isolate whether virus neutralization is caused by the human antibodies alone or in combination with the rabbit's antibodies, Merck did not apply this kind of control."
"And adding rabbit antibodies as a supplement to a vaccine was not an option because it could result in serious complications to a human, even death." They also "did not test the vaccine for its ability to protect against a 'wild-type'
mumps virus."
Senior management at Merck knew about Protocol 007. It was revealed, "Krah did not act alone in orchestrating the falsification of Merck's mumps vaccine test results. He acted with the authority and approval of Merck's senior management."
"In July, Relator Krahling met with Alan Shaw, Merck's Executive Director of Vaccine Research and complained to him about the fraudulent vaccine testing."
"Shaw talked about the significant bonuses that Emini had promised to pay once the testing was complete."
Merck uses falsified data to sell ProQuad vaccine which was behind the 2006 mumps outbreaks
"What no one knew outside of Merck - - not the FDA, the CDC or any other governmental agency - - was that this result was the product of Merck's improper use of rabbit antibodies and the wide-scale falsification of test data to conceal the inflated seroconversion numbers these antibodies generated."
In 2005, Merck was granted an exclusive license to sell ProQuad using the falsified mumps data for MMRII/chicken pox combination vaccine. After the vaccine was released at large, "In 2006, more than 6,500 cases of mumps were reported in the Mid-West. This was the largest mumps outbreak in almost twenty years..."
The document goes on exposing Merck. "Over the past decade, Merck's fraudulent scheme to misrepresent the efficacy of its
mumps vaccine has cost the U.S. hundreds of millions of dollars through the government's annual purchases of the vaccine under the National Vaccine Program ('NVP')."
"The CDC has recommended Merck's mumps vaccine for more than thirty years, a recommendation premised on the CDC's belief that the vaccine had an efficacy rate of 95% or higher."
"The CDC annually purchases from Merck anywhere from $60 million to $75 million for its MMRII Vaccine," and Dr.
Julie Gerberding helped Merck move these junk mumps vaccines in one very sickening vaccine fraud cover-up.
With this level of fraud taking place, research and think before you vaccinate, if you decide to at all.http://www.naturalnews.com/048569_vaccine_fraud_Julie_Gerberding_cover-up.html
