Monsanto gets sued for falsely advertising glyphosate as non-toxic to humans(NaturalNews) A class action lawsuit coming out of California could deal another hard blow to the infamous Monsanto Corporation. The lawsuit is pointing out what - that glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto's Roundup, is killing not only plants but also targeting specific enzymes in the microbiome of the human gut.
The more we apply glyphosate in agriculture and on lawns, the greater its residue in food products. Ultimately glyphosate residue makes its way into our gut and kills important species of bacteria that we depend on to stay healthy. The good bacteria colonies are responsible for regulating our immune system and helping it respond to invading pathogens. These bacteria help the body break down nutrients and also protect the gut wall from being penetrated by other toxins.
However, there's no mention of this science on Monsanto's Roundup labels. Entire countries approve glyphosate because they aren't educated on how the herbicide destroys the human body from the inside out.
Monsanto is lying straight up on labels that claim, "Glyphosate targets an enzyme found in plants but not in people or pets."
That's what this new class action lawsuit is pointing out. Monsanto has been lying about the science all along. The lawsuit isn't making direct links between glyphosate and cancer, even though the World Health Organization recently confessed that glyphosate is a carcinogen. Instead the lawsuit is pointing out the basic lie that Monsanto has been peddling all along, that glyphosate does not affect humans.
Monsanto's glyphosate lies impact practically everyone
The class action lawsuit, (Case No: BC 578 942) was filed in Los Angeles County California and alleges that Monsanto is guilty of using false advertisement when they say the herbicide is harmless to humans. This is no small matter. Glyphosate is the herbicide of choice throughout the world. Most of the genetically engineered crops in our world are made specifically to withstand this chemical. Labeling GMOs is not enough. Educating people on the action of
glyphosate and proving that it harms the people as a whole is most important.
The lawsuit points out that glyphosate targets the EPSP synthase enzyme, which is found in human and animal intestines. If this enzyme is being wiped out over time, then humans and animals lose their ability to fight off disease. If the CDC is so concerned about the herd immunity of the
human race, then why aren't they taking a stand to stop the mass application of glyphosate?
The lawsuit points out: "Because it kills off our gut bacteria, glyphosate is linked to stomach and bowel problems, indigestion, ulcers, colitis, gluten intolerance, sleeplessness, lethargy, depression, Crohn's Disease, Celiac Disease, allergies, obesity, diabetes, infertility, liver disease, renal failure, autism, Alzheimer's, endocrine disruption, and the W.H.O. recently announced glyphosate is 'probably carcinogenic'."
The world is awakening to glyphosate toxicity
The world is starting to wake to the toxic reality of glyphosate. Is this the begging of the end for the herbicide? Just recently The International Agency for Research on Cancer listed glyphosate as a Group 2A carcinogen. Even the American Cancer Society declared the herbicide a Group 2A carcinogen. In Beijing China, a resident named Yang Xiao-lu filed suit against the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture requesting the toxicology report for glyphosate when it was registered with the Chinese government. The Ministry responded by saying the toxicology report contained "trade secrets."
Delving further into history, we find that the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) stated in a memo dated October 30, 1991 that glyphosate was deemed a possible carcinogen by the agency in 1985. By 1991 the memo was changed, listing glyphosate as not carcinogenic, despite three scientist's refusal to sign the document. The data clearly shows that there was a significant increase in tumors in laboratory animals on glyphosate but since higher doses of glyphosate didn't render greater tumors, the EPA let the herbicide pass as not carcinogenic.
All this falsification of data is coming to light along with the fact that glyphosate is literally breaking down the human immune system by destroying specific enzymes in the human gut microbiome. Glyphosate is acting as a vector for mental disease by breaking down beneficial bacteria in the human gut, allowing other toxins to infiltrate the blood and bypass the blood-brain barrier.
We should only believe that Monsanto will be held accountable for all this.
